I suck at blogging! I know I do! The ironic thing is that I enjoy blogging but I just don't have time. I work full time, go to school full time and I'm a part-time "crafter" (is that a word? If not I just made it up)With that said.... squeezing time for my blog, myspace and facebook (oh and not to mention my etsy acct) is almost impossible for me to stay on top of all these sites!
However, tonight I'm in the mood for blogging. As I sit here sipping on my nice glass of Merlot, I realize it has been almost a week since I've last checked the mail. I'm not sure how sipping on a glass of wine made me think of that but its a good thing I decided to have one. I know what you're thinking...aren't your bills sitting there becoming past due? No!Actually, thanks to online billing; I am able to do everything just a click a way! (oh and my debit card) So see, I'm not irresponsible, I just don't feel like walking to the mailbox (does that make me lazy?) Ok now I'm over analyzing this mailbox thing but lets just say today I was super happy to check the mail.(and no not cause I got a FEMA check, although I wish I qualified for some of that free money!) As I flipped through all the junk mail I came across 2 cards. These cards weren't just ordinary cards, they were cards sent with lots of love all the way from San Diego! One card was very thoughtful and I wish I wouldn't have been lazy and checked my mail! (would have made Oct.18th a bit easier)The other card was cute as pie..it was a bunch of doxies sending me birthday wishes! Both cards were super sweet and I just wanted to take time to blog about the importance of true friends!(and checking your mail..lol) Thank you Amy, for thinking of me at all times! I'm super lucky to have a friend like you!(who I can play hide-n-seek with) Your miles away, (1459.44,to be exact or according to map quest..lol)yet you always find a way to put a smile on my face! So cheers, to a 10year friendship full of good memories with one of my BEST friends! Love ya Ames :)
Where our friendship began....
Now, on my last post I sent shout outs to all the people who made my birthday special and sent thank yous for all the cool gifts I received...BUT I failed to mention one gift! I'm not really sure how I forgot because I totally wanted this gift really bad as well. I'm a total Harajuku girls fan and my BFF Estupida Romantica ( I believe this Spanish word translates as HOPELESS ROMANTIC except more harsh..lol) got me the newest Harajuku Girls perfume.Unless you understand my obsession with these girls, the perfume sounds insignificant!..lol I kinda wish I was a Harajuku Girl! (Amy this is not a place for you to add your two cents!) So BFF ESTUPIDA ROMANTICA...thank you and Abby(mini-me) for the awesome gift! :)
(lyrics from Harajuku Girls song by Gwen Stefani)..and I really am their biggest fan!
Trina's Birthday Celebration!
