Update

I said I would get on the ball about blogging more often but it seems like I keep slacking more and more. So here's whats been going on. I'm trying to launch The Trinket Trunk which has been a semi-success. I've had two craftshows back to back; one could have been better and the other was GREAT! I featured some of Mille Fleur's items and people LOVED them!!! I plan to have another craft show December 6th, so hopefully this time around we'll have a SUPER great success.



School and work just got a little more crazy. I'm finally doing my intern but had to get on a crazy schedule at work. This has left me w/less time to craft and less time to do much of anything! I'm working 10hr shifts Mon, Wed & Fri so that on Tues/Thurs I can get off at 11:30. I know I shouldn't complain because what job would be willing to do this for me?.... I don't know of any? I'm lucky my boss likes me..lol I'm super tired at the end of the day and not to mention I still have other homework to do when I get home. I'm in bed by no later than 10.. have I turned into GRANDMA'S GOODIES? I have no time to craft! :( I'm hoping during the Thanksgiving break I'll have an opportunity to craft! I'm having "crafting" withdrawls!...Someone please inject me with some crafting antibotics!



This Tuesday was my first day of intern!! It was great. I assist deaf & hard of hearing clients find jobs. This will be the best exposure for me. I will easily improve my signing skills and my receptive skills will GREATLY improve, as well!!! Today will be my second day and we're having a Thanksgiving lunch. The neat part of it all is that the program I intern for is part of Career & Recovery Resources, which provides assistance to any person with aids/HIV, homeless or any sort of disability. This type of work is right up my alley. Finally doing something I LOVE!

I've survivied my first week of this 10 hour shift. I hope eventually it will just get easy! Oh did I mention I'm having CRAFTING WITHDRAWLS?? I need some CRAFTing-CRACK NOW PLEASE!!!
